VW Golf IV (2002) - red 1:18

With the fourth generation of the Golf, VW heralded the upward positioning of the brand. Quality and equipment that buyers had previously only been accustomed to in more upmarket mid-range cars became the new standard. Very small gaps were also evidence of first-class toolmaking. The model update in 2002 can be recognized above all by the changed rear light graphics.

The functional lines of the Golf IV are perfectly emphasized by the paint finish in Tornado Red (colour code LY3D). The “Route 66” wheels and the 1.6 liter engine - a typical Golf, as it was to be found in its thousands on Europe's roads.
