The VW Corrado G60 is a sporty coupe built by Volkswagen in the 1980s. It is characterized by its striking aerodynamic design, a compact body, and a powerful supercharger (G-Lader), which gives the vehicle distinctive torque delivery and a unique sound.
Key Features:
Engine: 1.8-liter 6-cylinder with a supercharger (G-Lader), later also known as the G60. Power output ranged from approximately 158 to 160 hp depending on the variant and market, giving the Corrado sporty performance.
Acceleration: Typical 0–100 km/h times ranged from approximately 7.5 to 8.5 seconds, depending on condition and model year.
Chassis: Compact, dynamic chassis with precise handling, suitable for winding roads and sporty driving.
Design: Clean lines, a low roofline, and a flat rear end. The large headlight clusters and the distinctive front end defined its appearance.
Interior: Well-finished materials, sporty instrumentation, and intuitive controls. Front legroom was adequate, while rear space was somewhat limited—typical for coupes in this class.
History: The Corrado was launched in the late 1980s as the successor to the second-generation Scirocco and, later on, was available with various engine options, including the 16V and the G60, as well as turbocharged models of other variants. The model enjoyed a loyal following and is now regarded as a classic example of German sports coupes from that era.
We are offering this model in a limited edition of 1,000 units, produced in collaboration with Norev.
