The Porsche Hispano Alemán Vizcaya is a fascinating vehicle that reflects the creative power and innovative thinking of the early 1970s. The car is based on the proven Porsche 914-6 chassis and was designed through the visionary work of Pietro Frua, creating a harmonious combination of German engineering and Italian design. The design impresses with its timeless elegance, with flowing lines and a balanced silhouette. Particularly striking are the hinged headlights, which give the vehicle a dynamic look, and the stylishly integrated daytime running lights under the bumper, which emphasize both style and functionality.
The vehicle was unveiled at the 1971 Geneva Motor Show and immediately attracted attention with its striking appearance and impressive performance. Under the Hispano Alemán brand, founded in 1970 by Werner Bernhard Heiderich, the Vizcaya stood for innovation and excellence. With Hispano Alemán, Heiderich wanted to redefine not only luxury but also sporting performance, which was reflected in the car's meticulous design and engineering. The Vizcaya had an engine tuned to 225 hp, which ensured sporty driving pleasure and offered driving dynamics typical of a true sports car.
Unfortunately, series production was prevented by a dispute between Pietro Frua and Hispano Alemán, meaning that only one example was ever built.
