Porsche 911 (964) Carrera 4 Targa 1991 - Blue metallic 1:18

Today, the term “Targa” is synonymous with cars with a safety bar and a removable roof center section, but has its origins in the Porsche 911 and 912 Targa, which have been produced since 1965. The name is derived from the Targa Florio endurance race, in which Porsche celebrated numerous successes.

The 911 Type 964 was the first Targa to be available with all-wheel drive. It was also the last to be equipped with a removable Targa roof. The successor models were delivered with a panoramic glass roof or automatically retractable roof center section.
