The film director Roberto Rossellini had one of the most famous romances with the Swedish actress Ingrid Bergman, who later became his wife. He ordered the Pininfarina Ferrari 375MM Coupé Speciale with chassis #0456AM as a gift for Bergman in 1954, which is why the car is also known as the “Bergman Coupé”, although she never actually received the car. The car made its first public appearance at the Paris Motor Show in 1954, before being delivered to Roberto Rossellini.
