The 365 BB is an uncompromising sports car with a mid-engine V12 and racing technology. André Herklotz, the owner, runs the company BB-Motors in Brinkum near Bremen, which specializes in these models. The story begins in 1976, when his father-in-law bought the Ferrari new and later had it painted red. After years in a barn, Herklotz discovered the car in 1999 in a poor condition with rust and pitting. He promised to take care of the car, completely dismantled it and began the restoration.
Although the work takes a long time and brings setbacks, Herklotz works with specialists, especially on the engine, which relies on original parts. Overhauling the engine and carburetor costs around 20,000 euros. In the end, the Ferrari shines again in its original color, which significantly increases the value of the car.
