The Daimler DE36 from 1953 is a British luxury car with hand-built bodywork by Hooper & Co.
The model was built especially for representative purposes and is one of the last vehicles with Daimler's in-line eight-cylinder engine.

The 5.4-litre engine with pre-selector gearbox delivers around 150 hp and offers smooth, superior handling.
The car was designed for long journeys in comfortable silence and elegance.

The body is made of aluminium, with flowing lines, concealed rear wheels and deep green paintwork.
Not a standard vehicle - each one has been individually customised.

The interior is lavishly equipped: Connolly leather, burl wood, rear window, picnic tables, reading lamps.
Many details were customised at the request of the original buyers.

Only around 205 DE36s were built - only a few of them with Hooper bodywork in this form.
The "Green Goddess" is one of the best-known surviving vehicles of this series.

It was used at state occasions and exhibitions - a drivable symbol of post-war elegance.
Today, it is one of the rarest British post-war vehicles with a high collector's value.
